Light and shade of the Saloma Link, a 69-meter combined pedestrian and bicycle link across the Klang River in Kuala Lumpur. The bridge links the residential district of Kampung Baru to the commercial center of Kuala Lumpur in the vicinity of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre.

While bicycling access is provided for by gradient ramps from the city side, the links end abruptly on the residential community side with a 3-story free-standing structure. Egress to the ground from this end is only by lift or staircase.
