Part II of my outing to the Farmer's Market with the Nokia Asha 300, with the images cropped to the 2.7:1 image aspect ratio. The crop might not be the true Xpan image, but the image aspect ratio is. The visit has been quite a while, just before the COVID-19 constraints were imposed.

`The COVID-19 constraint has really put a damper on external photographic activities you can get involved in, and motivated with. While some of you might get the jitters with interest wavering, that should not be the case for most of us.

Olympus Pen FT, F.Zuiko 38mm F1.8

As for the motivator to keep me going, I have two areas of interest that are currently keeping me occupied. First is digging up the archive for images still unpublished or having missed the cue, and second, trying out the post-processing app which I have been deferring from looking through for so long.

Olympus Pen FT, F.Zuiko 38mm F1.8

This batch is from a collection of images shot with the Olympus Pen-FT, with its accompanying F.Zuiko Auto-S 38mm F1.8, from about 5 years ago that has remained unpublished despite my efforts to have all of them posted previously. At long last, they do have their chance now of being published and to be looked at, applauded, and appreciated if they so deserve it.

Last in the series of five images with the Konica C35 EF, one of the cameras mentioned to have a very capable lens and very good shooting habits. The camera, nicknamed 'Pikkari' in Japan, was the world’s first 35mm compact camera with built-in flash, and the first plastic-bodied C35 that was introduced after the earlier Konica C35 series.

Konica C35 EF

The C35 EF is available in two iterations, with the latter incorporating a self-timer located to the left lens at a new speed of 1/250th of a second, added to the 1/60 and 1/125 from the older model, and an orange plastic flash release knob (the old one came with a black plastic one) and the focusing symbols on the lens focusing barrel are framed. Otherwise, the two cameras were mechanically similar.

Konica C35 EF

The C35 EF's light meter requires a 1.3V PX675 mercury battery. As a replacement, a 1.5V button cell should work almost as well. Flash requires two AA alkaline batteries, while NiMh rechargeable batteries are not advised.

The Covid-19 constraint does have its way of pushing the photographer into other aspects and challenges that can be just as rewarding and productive. As for these shots here, the images were captured with the Zuiko OM 100mm F2.8.
