Zuiko OM 50mm F1.8, Down By The Lake
'Vintage lens on mirrorless camera lens test, five frames with the Zuiko OM 50mm F1.8, breaking the sun'Here we are, still doing the best under the COVID-19 constraint, going through the archives for something worthwhile to blog about. This one was an early morning outing by the lake, taken a while back, with the Zuiko OM 50mm F1.8, looking at a bit of the wildlife that frequent the lake for food and habitat.
I do not think that the Zuiko OM 50mm F1.8, which is only the equivalent to 100mm on the 2x crop-sensor E-P5 is effective here. The images were huge blowups of the minuscule sections of the image and there. A better setup, with a longer focal length lens, a tripod, and timing would have been the better choice ...
Faced with the difficulty of the constraint, one thing that is for sure is that instead of fretting and whining your time away from being a truly creative person, a notion of persistence should be the drive to get you going along with what seems to be this long and rocky road.
