The Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 AI, considered one of the sharpest Nikon lenses, is an all-metal and glass 5-elements in 4-groups construction. Like most of Nikon's manual focus Micro-Nikkor lenses, this one only goes up to 1:2 macro; you will need a PK-13 or bellows to reach 1:1 macro.
