Cameras and Lenses: Bright and early morning shots, down by the lake, with an Olympus OM Zuiko 50mm f/1.8, said to be one of the sharpest lens ever made, at a 100mm full-frame equivalent on the Olympus Pen E-P5.

Here we are, still doing the best under the COVID-19 constraints, going through the archives for something worthwhile to blog about. This one was an early morning outing by the lake, taken a while back, with the Zuiko OM 50mm f/1.8, with shots of the wildlife that frequents the lake for food and nourishment.

The Zuiko OM 50mm f/1.8, equivalent to 100mm on the 2x crop-sensor E-P5, is far too short to be really effective for the shoot. The images were huge blowups of sections of the image. A better setup should, of course, be a lens with a longer focal length and a tripod.
